The CITB apprenticeship grant scheme runs from 1st April – 31st March each year.
Grants can be claimed by CITB registered employers, regardless of whether they are liable to pay us levy or not. They can be claimed in addition to any national / local government funding for apprenticeships.
From 1 April 2020 (current grant scheme year):
The attendance grant rate is £2,500 per year. We pay this in quarterly instalments, in arrears.
The achievement grant is £3,500 on successful completion of the Apprenticeship.
The grant is payable for apprenticeships at Level 2 or above, including Higher and Degree level apprenticeships.
In addition to apprenticeship grants CITB offer a host of additional grants and funding for a variety of construction training and qualifications.
