The Developing Skills for Business project seeks to engage construction employers in the co-design, development and piloting or apprenticeship programmes, work experience and training to meet the skills needs of local businesses across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
Approximately £291,000 has been secured to help small and medium-sized construction businesses across Cornwall and ensure that the local training provision is relevant and fit-for-purpose. The money is also being used to create new apprenticeships, new work placements and to spread knowledge of best working practices.
