You can do a lot of research from the comfort of your home by reading through all of the great resources on Go Construct or by subscribing to their brilliant YouTube channel. You can research salaries, find out what and where to study; but to really know what it’s like to work in construction you should really experience it for yourself. Arrange to visit a site or better still, see if you can organise some work experience to get a better feel for the industry.
